After our initial meeting with you, our talented team will take your inspiration, your vision, and the information you’ve provided, and will produce two important valuations – an estimate for your project’s construction phase, and a fully-itemised quotation for the planning and design process.

If you’re happy with our quotation, the next step is to meet our architect, who’ll pull together all the crucial information required to create construction drawings and plans for making building applications.
Although our architect will have some formal details to gather during this meeting, it’s not all dull for you – you get the opportunity to explore your creative ideas and discuss the details with an expert.
In most cases, planning permission requirements are met first time around, but just occasionally, additional conditions have to be met to be given the go-ahead to start work. Luckily, you won’t need to worry about that as we’ll do all the hard work on your behalf.
Don’t worry, you won’t be kept in the dark about the extra costs as we’ll send you a final quote reflecting the extra essential steps which will be user-friendly, fully itemised, and, of course, entirely transparent. If you’re happy to go ahead, we’ll send you three key documents, a high-level timeline, our payment terms, and the contract to sign.
Now the exciting part begins for us as we get down to work, preparing complex technical documents and drawings before site work begins.
Depending on the scope of your project, you can expect the documentation to include architectural construction and interior design drawings, a Gantt project plan, an itemised works schedule, a revision and approval letter from the building control inspector and a management spreadsheet for effective communication on a daily basis.
Of course, you’ll be kept well and truly in the loop at every step, so if any additional calculations or drawings are needed, you’ll be the first to know.
This is where things start to get exciting for you, as site work begins on your project. Before we get started, you’ll meet your Site Foreman and their team who’ll find out how you want to be updated about what’s going on with your project and whether there are any fittings or appliances you’re planning on keeping. Of course, you can also be assured that we take health and safety documentation very seriously, and everything will have been prepared fully before we get going.
Your site Project Manager will handle all of the day to day running of your project, liaising with engineers, the freeholder, and CDM controller, arranging and overseeing the weekly site meetings, keeping everything on schedule and updating you about any potential delays, so you’ll have nothing to worry about.
Your vision has finally been brought to life, and now it’s time for us to arrange completion meetings with the building control inspector and get the final compliance letter. Of course, we’re dedicated to ensuring you have complete peace of mind in the quality of our workmanship, so you’ll receive Guarantee Certificates that give you comprehensive cover for 12 months as a minimum and ten years for certain elements of your project.
Don’t worry, we’ll explain everything clearly so you’ll know what protections you’ll receive. If we’ve installed any appliances for you, you’ll receive guarantees for those too. We’ll walk you through the finished project covering everything from snags and fittings to heating and thermostats.
Basically, if there’s anything you’re uncertain of, this is the time to ask and we’ll make everything clear. If there’s anything that isn’t quite what you expected, we’ll work with you and get them resolved. We’re not happy until you are.
Now all the hard work has been done, it’s time for you to enjoy the finished product, but don’t forget that staying on top of your building maintenance is essential if you want to ensure your guarantees stay valid.
